Items subject to a permit or registration: why can't they go with an ETGB?

Items whose export the Ministry of Trade has prohibited or made subject to prior permission and registration cannot be carried under the express courier (ETGB) procedure. Permit and registration applications are made through the Single Window System (TPS); as TPS is not compatible with the ETGB, these items must be exported with a formal declaration, that is, a TCGB.

What happens if a prohibited item is found?

Checking whether a shipment contains items prohibited from carriage is the shipper's responsibility. If a prohibited item is found, the shipment is held to be returned. Without prejudice to the rights to notify the police, the customs directorate or other relevant authorities and to terminate the contract, an extra handling fee of €100 per waybill is invoiced for each prohibited item.
If you're not sure whether your item can be shipped, ask us before handing it over to Cargonet: +90 505 891 63 67.
