Our principles

  1. 1
    Primary sources first

Wherever possible we take regulatory information from the Official Gazette, mevzuat.gov.tr, the Ministry of Trade and the official customs and tax authorities of other countries; the sources we use are listed at the end of each page.

  2. 2
    Dates and scope

Every piece of information that can change (rates, limits, thresholds) is given together with its effective date.

  3. 3
    A single source of truth

So that the same fact reads the same everywhere on the site, figures and regulatory facts come from a central record.

  4. 4
    Update cycle

We review regulatory content at regular intervals, and immediately when an important change happens.

  5. 5
    Stating the limits clearly

We separate general information from the specifics of a shipment, and point out where an expert should be consulted for financial and legal decisions.

What do the dates mean?

Published
The day the content was first published
Last updated
The last day a meaningful change was made to the content

We do not change the update date for typo or image fixes alone.

Corrections policy

If you notice an error or outdated information in our content, please write to satis@cargonet.com.tr. We review every report, correct verified errors and reflect the correction in the page's update date.
