Shipping and prices

How do I ship a parcel abroad?

First you get a quote with the product, its weight and dimensions and the destination country. Then the invoice and product details are prepared, the product is packed securely and the shipment is collected from your address. After export customs, it passes through customs in the destination country and is delivered to the recipient. Step-by-step guide

How is the cost of international shipping calculated?

The price is based on the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight (length × width × height ÷ 5000), the destination country, the service type and extra services such as insurance. Calculate a price

What is desi and how does it affect the shipping cost?

Desi is the Turkish term for weight calculated from a box's volume. For light but large boxes, the price is set by the volumetric weight rather than the actual weight, so avoiding unnecessarily large boxes lowers the cost. Calculate volumetric weight

What is included in your price?

In the quote we state clearly which weight the calculation is based on, the service type and who pays the taxes in the destination country (DAP or DDP). Extra services such as insurance are shown separately. Get a quote

Do you collect shipments from my address?

Yes. Your shipments are collected from your address and delivered door to door to the recipient. We plan the pickup time together at the quote stage. Contact us

Which countries do you ship to?

Through the international networks of UPS, DHL, FedEx, Aramex, TNT and PTT, shipments can be sent to more than 200 countries and territories. For countries with sanctions or carrier restrictions, talk to our team before shipping. Country guides

Can I send just one parcel?

Yes. We accept single personal and business shipments as well as regular e-export shipments. For regular shipments we can plan a working model tailored to you. International shipping

Is there a difference between sending documents and sending parcels?

Yes. Documents with no commercial value go through a simplified process and usually incur no taxes; goods with commercial value require an invoice and a customs declaration. Document shipping

Transit times and tracking

How long does international shipping take?

With express services, delivery usually takes 1–3 business days to Europe, 2–4 to the US, 2–5 to the Gulf and 3–6 to Australia. Customs, the delivery region and public holidays affect transit times. Transit times by country

What delays delivery the most?

The most common cause is missing or vague customs documents: a missing invoice, a vague product description or a missing recipient phone number leaves the shipment waiting at customs.

How do I track my shipment?

When your shipment is on its way, you receive a tracking number. Enter it on our tracking page to be redirected to the carrier's own tracking system. Track a shipment

My tracking number isn't working. What should I do?

Tracking records are created when the shipment is first scanned in the carrier's network, which can take a few hours. If it is not updated for a long time, contact us with your tracking number: +90 505 891 63 67.

Are deliveries made at weekends?

Weekends and public holidays usually do not count as business days. In the Gulf countries the weekend is Friday–Saturday (Saturday–Sunday in the UAE), so delivery days differ.

What happens if the recipient is not at home?

The carrier usually attempts redelivery or leaves the shipment at a nearby pickup point. A correct phone number for the recipient helps the delivery to be completed quickly.

Can the address be changed after shipping?

Changing the address while the shipment is in transit depends on the carrier's terms and may incur an extra charge. We recommend confirming the address with the recipient before shipping.

Do transit times change in peak periods?

Yes. November–December (Black Friday and Christmas), and in the Gulf the weeks before Ramadan and religious holidays, are the busiest periods; plan your orders earlier at these times.

Customs and taxes

Who pays customs duty on a shipment sent abroad?

By default, the recipient pays the destination country's taxes (DAP). If you want the sender to pay them in advance, you can choose duties-paid (DDP) shipping. DDP shipping

Has the EU's €150 exemption ended?

Yes. Since 1 July 2026, e-commerce shipments of up to €150 arriving in the EU are charged a flat €3 customs duty for each different product category, and import VAT is charged on every amount. EU customs reform

Are there taxes on shipments to the US?

Yes. The US $800 de minimis exemption has been suspended since 29 August 2025. In addition, since 24 July 2026 an extra 12.5% tariff has applied to most goods of Turkish origin. US guide

What is IOSS, and is it mandatory?

IOSS is the system that allows VAT to be collected at the time of sale on consumer sales of up to €150 to the EU. It is not mandatory, but it helps the shipment clear customs quickly and means the buyer does not pay on delivery. IOSS guide

What is the A.TR certificate for?

The A.TR movement certificate allows Turkish industrial goods in free circulation to be exempted from customs duty in the EU under the Türkiye–EU Customs Union. Agricultural products are not covered. A.TR certificate

What is GTİP, and why does it matter?

GTİP is Türkiye's customs tariff code for a product; its first six digits are the international HS code. Because it sets the duty rate and the rules that apply to the product, getting it right prevents delays and penalties at customs. HS code (GTİP) guide

How is VAT charged on shipments to the UK?

On consumer shipments of up to £135, 20% VAT is collected at the time of sale by the seller or the marketplace, not at the border. Above £135, import VAT and customs duty are charged at the border. UK guide

What should I do if my shipment is held at customs?

Customs usually holds a shipment because of missing information or an unpaid tax. Contact us with your tracking number and we will work out the missing document or payment step together: +90 505 891 63 67.

Can I get a VAT refund on micro exports?

How do I issue a micro export invoice?

The invoice is issued in the name of the buyer abroad and includes the product description, quantity, unit price, currency and delivery term in full. Set up your invoicing with your accountant. Invoice guide

Can consignment exports be made with the ETGB?

Yes. Since the amendment of 6 November 2025, consignment exports can also be made with a simplified declaration and a proforma invoice within the 600 kg and €30,000 limits; the goods must be definitively sold within one year.

Do I need an invoice for a personal shipment?

For non-commercial personal shipments, the contents and value are declared instead of issuing an invoice. They must still be declared accurately, as the destination country may charge taxes based on the value.

What is an EORI number, and do I need one?

EORI is the economic operator number used in customs procedures in the EU. Businesses making bulk imports into the EU (e.g. Amazon FBA) need one; single e-commerce shipments usually do not. EORI guide

Narcotic substances, weapons and explosives, counterfeit goods and cultural property cannot be shipped; meat and dairy products are banned in most countries. Products such as batteries, perfume and sprays are subject to special rules. Product guide

Can I send perfume?

Commercially packaged and labelled food can be sent to most countries; meat and dairy products cannot be sent to many countries, including the EU, the UK and the US. Food guide

Can I send medicines?

How should I pack my box?

Use a sturdy outer box, protect the product on all sides with filling material and leave no gaps. Choose double boxing for fragile items and make sure the label is readable. Packing guide

What is an MSDS, and when is it required?

An MSDS (safety data sheet) is a document showing a product's chemical content and transport risks. Carriers may ask for it for products such as cosmetics, chemicals, batteries and perfume. MSDS guide

Can I send antiques or old items?

Antiques, historical artefacts and old manuscripts that qualify as cultural property cannot be taken out of Türkiye under Law No. 2863. Old items may need a document showing that they are not cultural property. Carpet and rug guide

How do I start e-exporting?

Does duties-paid (DDP) shipping increase sales?

Yes. Because the buyer does not have to pay taxes and handling fees on delivery, refused deliveries and cancellations fall and the customer experience improves. What is DDP?

How should I manage international returns?

Write your returns policy clearly, state who pays for return shipping, and build the cost into the price of products with high return rates. In the EU, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal.

Damage, loss and insurance

Do I need shipping insurance?

It is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended for valuable, fragile or hard-to-replace products. Insurance covers damage, loss and theft based on the declared value. Shipping insurance

What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged?

The recipient should document the damage with photos at delivery or immediately afterwards and keep the packaging. Then report it to us with the tracking number. Damage and claims process

What happens if a shipment is lost?

An investigation is opened using the tracking records. If the shipment is confirmed as lost, compensation is assessed under the carrier's terms and, if applicable, the insurance cover. Claims process

How is compensation calculated?

Compensation depends on the declared value, the insurance cover and the carrier's liability limits. That is why it is important to declare the real value on the invoice.

What documents do I need to report damage?

You need the tracking number, the invoice, photos of the damaged product and packaging and, if available, the delivery report. Providing complete documents speeds up the process.

How can I prevent damage to fragile items?

Wrap each item separately, use double boxing, fill the gaps with filling material and pack the box so that nothing moves when it is shaken. Packing guide

What happens if I declare a lower value?

Under-declaring the value can lead to penalties and delays at customs, and compensation for damage or loss is also based on the declared value. Declare the real value.

Can I get compensation for goods confiscated at customs?

Goods confiscated because they are banned or restricted in the destination country are usually not covered. That is why you should check whether a product can be shipped before sending it. Product guide
